Day 58 Rain Rain Go Away

Another rainy day in RI dreaming of sunshine. Brown was the color of choice wherever I went, brown shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, so my brown Dress fit right in, ugh, how I hate fitting in! I picked up this basic dress at a thrift shop for a whopping .99 cents so at least I didn't pay much for my mundane look. I wore fun T-strap pumps to spice it up a bit, but even those couldn't do much for it. I know, I know, the outfit was fine, maybe it was just all the rain, I may have liked the dress more if the sun was shining, in fact I'm sure I would have. No golf lessons for me yesterday, due to the weather so Tim was happy to have me home. I changed into sweats the minute I walked in the door and we hunkered down for a quiet night. I made a fabulous dinner and some apple crisp so the house was warm and smelled fantastic. The aroma of baking apples made me want to plan a trip for apple picking, the season is short so I better get going!  I plan to embrace the rain today and not let it get me down, one more day of it to go. On a cheerier note, I am figuring out how to work my selfie stick with more skill and found it has a built in tripod, game changer!
