Day 864 Silver Ice Beast

Not sure I would have ever imagined I'd have a kegerator set up in my family room, but here we are. As a non beer drinker, it holds zero appeal to me but somehow for Tim, this is a must have item. Understanding and accepting another persons priorities isn't always easy.... choosing our battles wisely is important. This silver beast certainly doesn't go with my vision for the family room decor but Tim seems happy with the vibe. I'm sure anyone that walks into our home will be able to quickly differentiate between Tims items and mine and give credit where credit is due. I bet there's more than a few guys that will envy the idea of sitting on a couch, reaching over and filling a beer from the tap without ever having to stand up. I may have to find a better spot for the silver beast, but for now, she doesn't appear to be moving. If there was ever any doubt how much I love Timothy, let the record show this photo.  It is also important to add that I am the keg buyer, who knows how that came to be, but somehow it's "easier" for me to go to the liquor store than for him? I guess we can also let the record show, he's one lucky man (just like his fortune cookie said the other day). Once his keg was safely inside the silver ice beast, we moved on to discussing the doorbell ring, me urging a change it and Tim standing by the Ode to Joy ringtone. Don't get me wrong, I love a good Ode to Joy but not the super loud digital ringtone version. With Tim not wanting change, I came up with the idea to place the chime unit right next to his kegerator so he can hear the glorious sound every time someone rings the bell, at full volume. I might even start ringing the bell every time I come home, since he loves the sound so much. It sure is a good thing he and I make each other laugh or we'd drive one another crazy!
