Day 668 Spray Paint for the Win

A before and after shot of the outdoor chairs I'm painting, love them! The green was looking outdated, chipping and overall ready for the dump. I hate throwing things away that can be fixed or redone, these chairs are the perfect example. The grey spray paint made quick work on the frame, leaving them looking good as new and the color is fantastic. If you've never worked with spray paint, do it, it's so rewarding and fun! I ordered some blue to fancy up my new tall planters, when I can't find the color I want I easily make it happen. The outdoor dining chairs will be easy, I'm not so sure how easily I'll handle the glass top table, but I'll cross that bridge this weekend. I worked on my stenciling project for a couple hours, hoping to get a bit done before the rain arrived and am pleased I have almost half of the project completed. Projects upon projects seems to be my theme these days, even Tim joined in changing up the outside light fixture and my mom came over to sand and paint the outside window we look at from my deck. My enthusiasm for new projects appears to be contagious! I'm guessing that right when I get everything just right outside, it will be time to come back inside for the winter!! Let's hope I have at least two minutes to sit and enjoy my work, I need to set a few party dates to ensure it happens. Fourth of July is always a fun party date, we can walk to the fireworks from my house, so it's a fun day to plan a cookout. I'll have to think of a few more dates, get the yard games going and fire up the grill. I'll be thrilled to see my new outdoor dining set in action, all set up on my newly stenciled area rug with the charcoal grey paint looking sharp. When my son tells me my work reward ratio is way off he has no idea the joy I get from seeing the outcome of my projects on the daily.... I'd say my reward factor outweighs the work ten fold. I can see why graffiti artists go wild with spray paint, with a can in hand we all become artists, spray paint for the win. Not sure what I'll paint after the dining set and flower pots, but I'm guessing I'll find another project before the end of the day.
