Day 841 What to do?

I had so much fun with my friends over the weekend, but couldn't help be aware, I was short at least one pretty wine glass. I have five of these beauties, six would make sense, eight might be perfect...but I have five. I woke up the morning after my company left, began hand washing these beautiful stemmed goblets and figured I might as well see if I can find them for sale online to complete my set. Finding things these days has never been easier, a quick google photo search and you can find just about anything! I snapped a quick picture, searched and within seconds found a pair of my wine glasses for sale on Ebay. Of course, as life goes, there's always a hitch. I knew they were hand blown, kind of fancy but had no idea they would sell as art glasses and be priced as such. One pair of these gems are priced at $75 with $20 shipping...yikes. Might sound crazy, but what's a gal to do? Ideally, I'd like three more of these  a pair would bring my numbers up but still wouldn't make an even place setting. I could continue to search, see if I can find one then just limit the amount of friends I have over for dinner...kidding. This thrifty gal's head is spinning... what to do? Since December is right around the corner and Santa always brings you something wished for but usually impractical, I may have to put my faith in him. Of course, as most households go, there's women that have a direct line to Santa, almost as if we are the same person....myself included. Santa will have to determine if it's just too outrageous or if he can make an offer, try and get the price down a bit and wheel and deal a bit to make it happen. Having a full set seems important, but holy cow, why can't I just like a box of twelve from Marshalls? Having great taste certainly comes at a cost and I am intensely aware that I'm the only person at the table that appreciates the value of my setting...but aren't we suppose to please ourselves first and foremost? If I were to get two more glasses, I could set a table for eight and since Tim doesn't drink wine, I might be able to get away with no one noticing he doesn't have a wine glass...one possibility. I certainly don't want to spent $95 on two wine glasses, it seems a bit crazy but they are, after all, works of art. Tim spends more than that on a pair of new flip flops and they have no artistic value. I guess we'll have to wait until Christmas to find out, somehow Santa always knows what we're secretly (or not so secretly) obsessing over and I do enjoy the hunt for a better deal....time will tell. I either need less friends, more wine glasses or cheaper taste.
