Day 884 Flakes

Yes, I'm one of those people that wishes for a good snow storm, flakes always welcome.  Already inside, hunkered down due to bitter cold temps and freezing wind gusts, why not have a bit of winter white? Snow is in the forecast for the weekend and a Saturday snow would be perfect, no need to leave the house at all. I know there's lots of folks that don't love snow, New England might not be the best choice for them. I don't even want a little snow, I look forward to the heaviest storms and have blizzard supplies on the ready at all times. Enough daydreaming about snow....thankfully, I've been managing to continue on with my cleaning mojo for the new year. On the cutting board, phone contacts. Might sound strange but my phone contacts haven't been cleaned out in ages. I started going through my list, name by name and deleting anyone that I don't recognize, don't call or that has died. Yup, I deleted at least a dozen dead people, what the heck! I should have paid attention to how many contacts I started with because after deleting hundreds I was left with 339 remaining. I can't imagine that I need that many, do I really call 300 people?? I may have to go back over the list again, but for now, it feels good to have a workable contact list...and so much easier than cleaning my closet! There's that crazy closet rule that if you haven't worn it in a year then get rid of it. Although I've never agreed with this rule for clothing, I wonder if the same should hold true for phone contacts, if I haven't contacted them in a year then delete them?? For now, my phone cleansing is done and whoever remains is safe for the moment...but they better call soon. If my dream comes true and we have a snowstorm this weekend, I'll be home busying myself with another random project, yet to be selected but the possibilities are endless. Or maybe.. I could stay in my PJ"s and bake cookies all day while I watch the snowflakes fall. Looks like it's a daydreaming day ahead for me.... with so much to dream about it makes me wonder how on earth anyone could ever be bored? Good food in the fridge (the freshly cleaned fridge) a warm fire and brand new stack of board games, a few flakes or more welcome and wanted.
