Day 1015 Beach-hopping
Tim and I attended our new member orientation at the Galilee Beach Club, and although everyone was bundled up in winter coats, we could almost feel the warmth of summer in the air. It was great that the club brought us all together to go over the rules, review the do's and don'ts, and get to know each other face to face.
They served delicious appetizers and offered complimentary pours of rum punch—such a warm welcome! Most of the new members were joining as weekday members, but a couple of us were there as social club members. It's incredibly smart of the club to offer a variety of membership options, making the most of the space by extending access during non-peak times.
Since both Tim and I work during the week, the social club option suits our lifestyle perfectly. We’ll be able to attend all the beach parties, enjoy dinners in the dining room, and spend evenings on the sand at the tiki bar. Plus, we can bring our friends as often as we like—huge bonus!
Green Hill Beach Club will still be our go-to for daytime beaching; it’s better for swimming, and we both have strong connections to the community there. This summer is shaping up to be packed with beach parties, alternating between clubs. With Rhode Island summers being so short, that’s just the way we like it.
We’re so excited for the season ahead—sunsets, seafood, sand between our toes, and a calendar full of fun. Let the beach-hopping begin!
So awesome!
