Day 1039 Summer Fleece

Summer beach vibes, fleece and all.
Tim and I went to our new beach club for a fun night of live music and ocean air. I love everything about this place—from the valet parking (yup!) to the outdoor tiki bar, fire pits, live music, great food, drinks, and fantastic friends.

Tim doesn’t know as many people there as I do, but it’s a great opportunity for him to make new friends. He’s put our new club on a two-year probation period, but I have no doubt it’ll win him over… especially with live music playing until nearly 11 p.m.

I’d foolishly cooked dinner before we headed to the club and quickly realized I should’ve opted to eat at the beach instead. The new club has a fancy restaurant upstairs and a casual takeout spot at beach level. They’ve placed big comfy chairs and couches right in the sand, had attendants tending the fire pits throughout the night, and even have a staff member dedicated to entertaining the kids!

Bridie and her boys will be visiting soon, and possibly my son at some point—I can’t wait to take them! I’ll always love the Green Hill Club, but sorry (not sorry), the Galilee Club is amazing. I guess Tim and I might just have to keep his-and-hers clubs.

We made it home before midnight, smelling of fire pit smoke and loving every bit of it.
This summer is already off to a beautiful start—filled with music, laughter, and ocean air. I have a feeling we’re in for many more magical nights by the sea.
