Day 1075 Jellyfish

So I reemerged back into the land of the living—slowly, at half speed, but upright for the first time in days. I set up my new LED jellyfish desk toy, and I must say, I love it! With the push of a button, you can change the colors, and the constant motion of the plastic jellyfish is mesmerizing.

I figure if you’ve got to have a desk, you might as well make it fun—and this little gadget definitely earns its keep. I settled on the blue light and watched those dancing jellyfish all day as I eased back into my routine.

Tim suggested we head to the beach for the sunset, but once I got home, all I wanted to do was climb straight into bed. Clearly, I’m still not feeling 100% if I’m turning down a beach evening.

I did manage a trip to the store to buy more cherry plums, only to find them sold out. I had to settle for regular plums—a clear runner-up to my favorite seasonal treat. I might check another store today and see if I can track down a few more while they’re still in season.

Little by little, I’m getting back to myself. Still tired, still craving rest—but I’m grateful for small joys like jellyfish lights, juicy fruit and a comfy bed. Here's to healing, slow days, and finding delight wherever it shows up.
