Day 1138 Rockstars

Endless Summer 2025 continues on, with another fantastic steak dinner on the beach. I couldn’t wait to get home, throw on a party dress, and head out for a hot September night under the stars. The kitchen set up a grill right on the sand, where they cooked steaks or salmon to order—served with delicious sides of grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. Don't mind if I do!!

As if that wasn’t enough, dessert was a scrumptious pineapple cake that disappeared in a flash. Although Tim and I had arrived alone, we were quickly surrounded by friends, and our table of eight was full of lively conversation and laughter all night.

The photo above is of me and Christy, a friend I’ve known for ages. We’re both thrilled to be seeing more of each other at the beach club lately. She and her husband joined our group and might even become part of our trivia team next year—yes, I’m recruiting! She’s always a blast. I’m not sure what’s older—our friendship or that bright orange flowered dress I pulled out again. Christy may win, but not by much!

Honestly, I don’t know how people manage to thin out their wardrobes—I love all of it... and have the mess to prove it!

I was a little bummed to learn that the Oktoberfest party at the club is the same weekend I’ll be in Florida. I really hate to miss a good time—or a party—but I’ll be there celebrating Dawn’s birthday, which is certainly worth it. Clearly, these are first-world problems.

Tim and I have had such a fun summer, partying like rockstars and living it up. I’m sure our waistlines and wallets will be relieved when winter life settles in.

Until then, I’m soaking up every last sunset, every laugh, and collecting every memory. Endless Summer isn’t just a season—it’s a state of mind..I'll be daydreaming beach memories this winter to keep me warm.
